This Lady is Following me

Hello Bloggers,

So now this is my 9th blog, and I don’t have that many viewers, but I have a story that recently just happened to me that will blow you all away! So on Tuesday, I was walking from my house to class. To remind those that are just starting to follow me, I am a 45 year old man, attending college, but back to the story, so as I was saying I was walking up to class, and I was crossing the street. The weather was pretty bad; there was a mix of snow and sleet. The light turned red, and the little walk man popped up, so I started walking, and before I knew it I got hit by a car. I was sent flying 10 feet, and into a bank of snow, I don’t remember much, but I woke up with a broken leg, and a concussion. As I was lying in the hospital bed, all banged up, the policeman came in and talked to me and he discussed that they were able to get the lady who hit me. I was lucky to be alive, the police man said, which was a great thing to hear. When I asked the police officer who hit me, he showed me a picture of the lady, and I couldn’t believe my eyes! I was amazed; the lady who hit me was the old lady who stole my car by accident that time I went shopping. I was speechless, and the officer continued to say, that the lady was under the influence, at the time she hit me. I guess she was arrested, and to add onto her criminal record the car she hit me in, wasn’t hers… GO FIGURE!

Nothing Special just a Good time until....

Hello Bloggers,

Best weekend yet! I ended up going out to this concert on Friday night with the same guys I met on Wednesday. The concert was some guy named Wiz Khalfia, it was a pretty good concert, I mean it was no Crosby Stills and Nash, or CCR, but it wasn’t half bad, and to add the 7 shots we took before it, it ended up being a great night. After the concert though I had a bunch of people back to my house were we played some more drinking games. I showed the kids the old school beer pong, and I was taught this new game called flip cup, where you drink a cup and flip it or something it wasn’t half bad.
For Saturday night, we all went to the home basketball game that the team had, and painted our bodies, ha ha I can’t even remember having such a good time sober for that. It was great, and it felt good to finally feel a little sense of belonging. On the bad side, I ran into the teacher that completely threw me for a loop. If you don’t understand what I am talking about read Blog #7. I didn’t want to be rude, so I said hi, and was respectful, because who knows if I will have to take a class with him/her next semester. Something my father always told me was never burn bridges because you never know who you’re going to need to turn to for a recommendation later on down the road. After the game, we were all pretty excited because we won 92-67, so the guys introduced me to some girls that they were friends with, and we all ended up at Porky’s bar again. Now before you start making assumptions I never go after college girls, I have always been a firm believer of not being a creep, even though I am sure it’s tough to avoid that when I am in the bar with the oldest person besides me being 22 or 23. But I stay true to my morals, and abide by them as well. I ended up having another great time though at Porky’s this place was seriously the place to be, until I got accused of buying minors drinks, and had to be handcuffed out by the police… but that story is for next blog. I’ll tell you though it’s unbelievable how much cops can be assholes.

Terrible Date

Hello Bloggers,

Terrible terrible terrible, just once I found this beautiful cyclone girl, I have to find out the hard way why she is a “cyclone girl”. If you’re lost with what I am saying, I’m saying she was a MAN! I have no idea how this happened, I honestly thought she was beautiful. Then at the end of the date when she told me, she had the nerve to ask me if we can go on another date.  I paid for dinner, because of course I am a gentlemen, and I was out of that restaurant so fast. Now it’s going to be awkward when I see him/her on campus. Well that was a terrible start to my Wednesday night, and but thank god at this school, the kids have something called “Wet and Wild Wednesdays” so I had to drink, honestly I was such in a rut, and I needed to make at least 4 solid friends, so I can have myself a little group to always hang with and do college guy things with. I ended up at this place called Porky’s Bar, there were people everywhere. I kind of recalled some of the steps that Paul Rudd pulled in I Love You Man. I struck up conversations with a bunch of people, some were athletes for the school, others just cool kids enjoying the college life, but the fact of the matter was, I first bought them a drink to break the ice, and then the conversation rolled after that. It was almost like speed dating for friends I guess. After a few shots I found myself hanging with a group of 4 guys, their names were Steven, Mike, Chris, and DJ. They are all from Connecticut, and met each other all here during their freshmen year. It was great to feel a part of something, and to possible have a group of guys I can hang with, and the nice thing about it was they were all 22 years old, and seniors, so I guess it made it a little less creepy, because they are older students. I ended u8p stumbling back to the house around 4ish, and crashed. I woke up this morning 3 text messages, Chris, Steven and Mike, all saying the same thing, “You think last night was fun wait until Friday night”.

Boot Hockey and a lady

Hello Bloggers,

Its Funday Sunday, and what a weekend. I met this beautiful young lady, now now... its not a college girl its actually a professor at the school, but its fine because she is only 3 years younger then me. I met her at this little restaurant downtown, she was eating by herself, as was I, I struck up a conversation, and i guess my charmed lasso'd her in. Beautiful brunette girl with, hazel eyes, and a smile that lights up the room. But as a few of my friends that I met here say, I am playing it cool, and being chill about it. So I guess that all means I'm in? I don't know, this new lingo has me a tad confused. I played boot hockey for the time this weekend, I never knew how much drinking and a sport went hand in hand, I was amazed, haha but it was a fun time, I wasn't that good, but i did score a few goals, and kick some college kids ass! Next blog hopefully I will have gone on my first date with this fine beautiful lady. Be sure to read my next blog for the details. Cross your fingers that I don't mess it up.

Should I higher Her?

Hello Bloggers,

It has been a  long stressful week, and I have been exhausted. The weather is started to get extremely cold, and well I guess it has been an off week for me. Exams are starting to pile up, and the homework load has become unbearable.. but not to worry, because I have my friend Jim Beam to keep me sane. I cant wait for the weekend because of course once Friday comes around it means it is time to unload. As a side note I had to go to the Police Station because apparently that old lady who stole my car, well I guess she had a warrant out for her arrest. Who would of thought, such a innocent old lady was wanted in 3 states for the crime, grand theft auto. Well I guess I could really careless because she had enough kindness to bring back my car which I really thank her for. I'm thinking about paying her bail maybe, and taking her out to dinner, show her that she doesn't need to steal cars, maybe I can higher her to do work around my house. I mean everyone deserves a second chance right, what do you think about that?

Craziest Thing Happened

Hello Bloggers,

I want to apologize, first because I had an extremely rough day yesterday, so I apologize this blog is not on time. I know you were all probably wondering where I was. Well I woke up with a hangover for the first time in a very very long time yesterday morning. I went out to this bar on Saturday night which was an absolute blast, met some people, possible new friends. It was nice because they were buying me shots; one was called a mind eraser, now I understand why. On Sunday, I flushed my system with water, water and more water, so I could rehydrate myself, and set up my house for a super bowl party that I invited a few people I met from last night to. Spent all day running errands, and the craziest thing happen to me, I went grocery shopping, and when I got out to my car, I realized I left one more grocery bag inside, so I pulled my car up to the side, threw the hazards on and ran inside, when I came out my car was gone! I couldn’t believe it someone stole my car. I was beyond pissed, because it was just about 5ish, and if I missed the kick off, I probably would have killed someone. So I called the police they came to the grocery store, they asked me questions. I had to put in a request to get the video tapes from the store, so I can go through them. Then 30 minutes later, I see my car pull up. This old lady gets out, and by this point I am confused, I feel like I am in that show with that ashton kuffer guy, or whatever his name is. After all was said and done, I guess the old lady got her black Hyundai  mixed up with my black Mercedes, and once she walked out of the store, she thought her car was mine. I couldn’t help but feel realized, and found it funny in the long end.  Once I got back to the house, I had 30 minutes to spare, to set up and people started coming over, Had a keg full of Rolling Rock, because apparently college kids don’t like good beer. I learned to shot gun a beer, and a few other drinking games, and overall had a great night because the Giants WON!!!! I just love it when those damn New Englanders/ Bostonians are shut upped.

Until Next Time,

Bad News/ But good News

Hello Bloggers,

Well it’s Tuesday, and I got written up in the dorms. Apparently even if I am 20 something years older I still can’t drink in the dorms. But! I do have some good news, I have decided to move off campus and buy a house. I know it sounds pretty spur of the moment, but I have decided that it would be easier for me to get work done, and focus on my grades, and keg stands will be a lot easier as well, considering my house won’t be a “dry house”. I am swamped with work, but as I am typing this blog now, I am in the library getting some work done. I am thinking of throwing a party on Friday to meet some people, what do you think, is it a good idea? I feel like a nice big house party will def. get me a little more acclimated to the college life. I tell you though; the last couple of days have been tough. I didn’t know college kids drank so much. Back when I was young maybe because the drinking age was younger kids were more responsible, but at the bar the other nights, kids were throwing up, and black out I was amazed. Who knows what the weekend will bring though. It’s Wednesday which is always a nice things, I move into my new house on Friday, so you all will just have to wait for my next blog on Sunday to read about my weekend adventures!

 Until next time,
