Move in Day

Hello Bloggers,

I am back, and not very happy. I will start off with the good news first: My flight arrived on time into the airport, and I landed safely. Besides that, that’s all I have for you. I don’t know where to start with the bad news, let’s just say I am sitting in a dorm, sweating to death! Come on, where is the air conditioning, and that’s not even the worst part. My room, well to tell you the truth it’s a joke, I feel like I am in prison, but that story is for another time. I am on the 3rd floor; my back is killing me, from walking up and down dragging my suitcases. My roommate hasn’t stopped talking to me, since I have gotten here. I need some peace and quiet and I need it fast or something is going to happen. But worst of all, this is a dry campus!!! Come on I am a 45 year old man, in the dorms, I’ll drink when I want, who is going to say I can’t, I am their father’s age. Shoot when I was 18 drinking was legal, that’s the age of all these freshmen.  But back to the good stuff, I am here; I am all situated into my room. I do feel a little out of place tell you the truth but I figured I will give it a few days, get a feel for things, check the campus out. My classes start tomorrow, and for the most part they all look like pretty simple classes. Chem 1 with a lab, astronomy, English 10, Accounting and gym. So hopefully I’ll meet a few friends, and this experience will all work its self out. Plus you can’t judge a book by the first few pages, or is it by its cover? Eh whatever it is, we will soon find out.

Until next time,

  1. Oh, cry about it. Are you serious? This fucking guy... If I could make it through school while having football practice all day, and playing beer pong all night, I'm sure some rich, genius like yourself can manage it just fine.

  2. Wow! They actually let you live in the dorms? Thats pretty crazy. What your doing sounds pretty out there man, but I say power to you for doing something different! Good luck with getting used to the shoe box!
