Hello Bloggers,
I am back, and not
very happy. I will start off with the good news first: My flight arrived on
time into the airport, and I landed safely. Besides that, that’s all I have for
you. I don’t know where to start with the bad news, let’s just say I am sitting
in a dorm, sweating to death! Come on, where is the air conditioning, and that’s
not even the worst part. My room, well to tell you the truth it’s a joke, I
feel like I am in prison, but that story is for another time. I am on the 3rd
floor; my back is killing me, from walking up and down dragging my suitcases.
My roommate hasn’t stopped talking to me, since I have gotten here. I need some
peace and quiet and I need it fast or something is going to happen. But worst
of all, this is a dry campus!!! Come on I am a 45 year old man, in the dorms, I’ll
drink when I want, who is going to say I can’t, I am their father’s age. Shoot when
I was 18 drinking was legal, that’s the age of all these freshmen. But back to the good stuff, I am here; I am
all situated into my room. I do feel a little out of place tell you the truth
but I figured I will give it a few days, get a feel for things, check the
campus out. My classes start tomorrow, and for the most part they all look like
pretty simple classes. Chem 1 with a lab, astronomy, English 10, Accounting and
gym. So hopefully I’ll meet a few friends, and this experience will all work
its self out. Plus you can’t judge a book by the first few pages, or is it by
its cover? Eh whatever it is, we will soon find out.
Until next time,
